Last Thursday I emailed team organisers the draw for this Wed, some of you have contacted me to ask about the draw- it seems the message has not got through to some of you. If it hasnt please email me as you will probably not get other email notifications. Ive copied pasted the email here below as well as the link to the draft draw for this Wed. There has been one change the Inner West Courier has pulled out of Div 3 and as a result The crooked Shoe has a BYE no game for this week.
I havent heard back from some of you to tell me you got the message about the games this week, so please email me to let me know you got this message.
Ive decided to ban all slide tackles for all future competitions across all Grades .
Please note the following:
We will be aiming to play 11 rounds from 13 Jan to 10 Mar , (spare round on March 17, Finals on March 24) we will also be playing two Tuesdays in February in addition to playing on the Wednesday.(the two Tuesdays will be 2nd Feb and 9 Feb)

Some divisions will be playing two round others one and a half.
Women’s Div 2 and 3 only have 5 teams in their respective division- Instead of having two byes or no games- the team have a bye or no game in each div will play each other in a friendly. Ive done this so that you play more games- please do not think this is an excuse for a forfeit.
Men’s Div 4, Walters Team Crazy Eagles now playing against Fistiano Stonealdo
Women’s Div 2 – I had no choice but to put two Div 1 teams in Div 2 -but to even things up and make it a fair comp – Redbacks will be handicapped 2 goals and Batildas II will be handicapped 1 goal for each game.
I’ve placed 3 Div 1 men’s over 35 teams into the All age men’s com Div 3 as we did not have enough div 1 over 35 teams to start a comp.
New rule you can start and finish with 4 players, less than 4 it’s a forfeit.
Still no slide tackling in over 35 Div 2
Games will start on time- so ensure your players are ready to start.- parking is available at bowling club – any cars obstructing local resident driveways will be towed away- don’t risk it as Ive got the number of the tow truck company on direct dial.
For insurance purposes I need every players details and photo- no details no insurance. In addition teams will not be written into full draw unless registration is completed and all the fees are paid- minimum of 8 players.
I banned 3 players last comp for serious breaches of our conditions –any sort of violence will not be tolerated and will be dealt with swiftly and severely! Teams and players will be banned and any serious violence will be reported to the police- so have a long chat to your players about this! Don’t even think about any abuse directed towards the refs!!!
New teams – if you the last team playing the ref will remind you that your team is responsible for bringing tone of the goals back to the dressing shed, fully assembled and ensure the steel pegs about 4 of them are brought back and given to staff. Teams guilty of not bring goals in will lose points and will not be invited back to future competitions.
Centenary Park is not a rubbish tip – so please put your rubbish in the bins we put out.
Please respect the neighbours by keeping noise down when coming and going
Tables or results will not be posted on website until the 3rd round.
We supply the ball, we do not have ball boys and its up to each team to retrieve the match ball even if it goes onto the road- please take care when crossing the road or jumping the fence on Queen st.

Our canteen will be open again selling hot food, cool drinks and some junk food!!! Sorry Chocolates, snakes chips etc. open between 5.30 and 9.00pm
We do not have spare balls ,shin pads, socks, shorts, or goal keeper gloves!
Ice packs are available but will not be in the future unless the 30 I’ve given out are returned.
If you want to warm up be my guest but please respect the teams playing and use the designated warm up areas – Ive attached the map.
We have one spare week up a sleeve for rain cancelled round – all other round affected by rain cancellation will not be replayed.

All teams must have the same colour strip with numbers and all players must be wearing shin pads.
Apologies for sounding like a grumpy old man! I really am not I just have to repeat these things for some of the new teams to understand our rules- that way everybody has fun!
The full draw will be up by about Tuesday Jan 19.
If there is a clash of colours bibs are available at the canteen.
